Ramkripal · Hazaribagh
Inside the dining room
Family tables, weekend queues, the clatter of steel thalis landing on the counter. The dining room at Ramkripal has not changed much in thirty years — and that's the point.
Lunch is the loudest. Sundays are the longest. Both are worth waiting for.
No onion, no garlic
Our thalis are pure-vegetarian and Satvik-friendly — cooked without onion or garlic, the way Hazaribagh families have eaten for generations.
Dal that takes a day
Dal Makhani starts at 6 AM and finishes at 6 PM. Every restaurant thali serves dal that has been simmering all day.
Hand-rolled breads
Rotis, naans and parathas are rolled and tava-cooked to order. Nothing sits in a stack.
